Watchman and Pistol Shrimp

I purchased a watchman goby and a pistol shrimp pair this weekend . Since putting them in the tank I have not seen either . I know for sure the shrimp is there, as he is excavating like mad. The Goby I have not see . Makes me a bit worried. Just wondering what experiences anyone else has had with these.

Not surprised... I might see the YWG in my wife's tank every few days or so. It took her a long time to come out after being introduced.

Very normal behavior for the goby. You should start to see it more frequently in a few days to a week.

Just worried about it eating. I guess its finding food somewhere.

Sounds about right for a watchman/shrimp pair. My YWG only comes out for food or to bite the clowns that tease it.

I have a huge pistol....gotta get em a mate soon...he comes out real often...everytime i feed
