This is a very basic water change calculator. It calculates how much "old" or "dirty" water remains for varous water change percentages. It calculates how many water changes it will take you to replace practically</em> all of your water. Natuarlly, unless you replace 100% at once, you will never get to 0 dirt water. It is does NOT account for the time interval beteen water changes and the fact that new water immediately starts to become "dirty" by the life in the tank.
