What do you guys test freshly made saltwater for. Just set up my ro , ran 30 gallons and threw it away, what tests do you run before changing water, I know temp, salinity needs to be the same and I am pretty sure ph needs to be tested but anything else? Thanks in advance

I think you are pretty much on the right track. RO takes care of just about everything else. I sometimes add a little Seachem Prime, but its not 100% necessary.

Use a TDS meter to check your RO water (keep it under 5)

Mix up a new batch of salt water and test that the same way you test your tank. As long as salinity is the same and you use the same salt those numbers wont change much. Use those numbers to decide if you want to dose the new water with alk, calc or mag prior to use.
