Water mixing equipment

Recently I have noticed that after mixing water, when I take out the pump and heater there is this white coating on them. It comes off as soon as I put water on it. I use a 5 gallon bucket, a heater, a powerhead, rodi water and Red Sea coral pro salt. Is this coating something to worry about or is this normal?

How long are you mixing for? A lot of people have noticed that some of the stuff you want, ca and alk, will precipitate out if it's mixed too long. I use to mix RSCP for about 4hrs and it was good to go.

I mix for 3+ hours.
