I think I need to increase the flow in my tank some...

It's a 55gal, and I don't think I want to create hurricane or tsunami conditions in there... it just seems like I need to move the water a little bit. I get plenty of motion at the top levels of the tank, but it doesn't seem to carry all the way to the bottom of the tank.

Is there a powerhead i should think about? I'd really rather not move the rockwork around... it's established itself really well.

What about moving the return flow? It's in the opposite end of the tank from my overflow.

Or maybe I should just leave it alone?

What do y'all think?

just get one or 2 of these inexpensive powerheads!

Hydor Koralia Circulation Pumps/Powerheads

second the koralias.....

it probably would be enough flow for what you need but you could take a look at the koralia nano and maybe add a couple of them. they are cheap and tiny!!!

Sam has them I think.

I have 2 koralias 4's in my 55 and the return pump, only 1 corner gets a tornado effect

Goooo Tunze! I'm a fan of them. The 6025 is a nice pump, small and uses 6W of power. Plus you can mod it to over 1200gph. Think they cost 61 thu MRC.

I vote for the koralias too. I have a 3 and a 4 in a 70 gal, with a mag 9 return and wouldn't call it too much flow.
