Water temp

Since changing from a metal halide to led's my water temp rarely goes above 80 degrees .i also took the return pump out of the sump.there is also a lot less algae to scrape off the glass my thermostat at the house is set at 78 degrees .gotta love those led's

I also like that LED's concentrated beams of light reduces algae on glass. Actually, if you have a large enough aquarium, you can "spotlight" certain rocks and never or rarely have to clean the glass ever again.

Definitely convenient for the aquarist...



Still going to run MHs as long as I can.
