Hey everyone! Been in and out of the hobby for the last decade or so. Wanted to jump back in but didn’t want to spend all the money on a large tank (I’ve had a 110, 90, 60, 29) previously, and I found this WB 25 peninsula for a good deal.

Started with 20lbs of live rock, another 10 of dry rock, like pink Fiji sand, and of course water from where the live rock came from.
It’s been up and running for about a week now with just a base clean up crew going.

It only took me a handful of tries before I got to this aquascaping and for once, I’m actually really happy with it!

Got it. Hard to tell sometimes with how blue the pics are.

So, what's the plans for the tank? What kind of lighting, etc.?
Yeah, the lighting is on a schedule that starts with more white in the mix, then blues out at the end of the night into the "moon" lighting, this just so happened to be about an hour before lights off.

Currently it has an AI Prime 16HD on it with the flex arm. Ill stick with LPS and torches, maybe a nem if I come across the right one at a good deal. I wont be messing with any SPS, dont have the time to be that anal with the water parameters to keep them happy. I like movement, so torches and Gonipora will be my main focus for sure.

Live rock, carbon, and filter floss for my filtration in the back. Not sure if Ill need nor want to run a protein skimmer on this size tank.

That size tank, you can just do weekly water changes to maintain your parameters. Sometimes I wish I had a smaller tank, it would be so much cheaper and easier to manage.
Yeah man, I only wanted a small water change to do, nothing extra and or expensive for upkeep really. Plus I wanted to AIO tank to avoid the noise of water going down into the sump and such since its in the living room near the TV.

Little update to the aquascape and a few additions as well.

All parameters are holding perfect 🙌
