What are you trying to grow? You don’t need much for a 3g tank in respect to either light and water movement. I just used my hob for my 3.5g and that was plenty of movement. As far as lights you could do a par38 bulb or a small led fixture. I ran a nano box mini

Probably only growing softies and maybe a lps not to much will fit in there

What are you using for filtration?

All in one tank. Just using the filter that came with it and water changes. Not going to put any fish just snails, crab, maybe 1 shrimp but pack it full of zoas and shrooms.
