Wave Making with AquaController

My AquaController (Jr) has a wave maker function which I would like to try. I am currently running two K4s.

Anyone using this function? Pros / Cons? Suggestion for power heads?

In general from what I've read here it is hard on the Koralias, and they do their "clank" thing on startup unless you mod them (which helps but doesn't totally eliminate it).

There was another thread not long ago and if I remember right people are running the new Coralvue PH's for wave making and having good luck with them.
