The RC thread goes into a good bit of detail but I think the conclusion is that they are good for the price. I have Weissman bulbs but will consider Wavepoints when it's time to swap them out.

I have a wavpoint fixture that i bought used and come with the bulbs. Since it only had two blues i had to put one of my geismans in there with one 12k daylight bulb. So, 3 wavepoint and a geisman. I like it, the colors really pop and all my corals and my clam really are loving it...

i'm soon to be setting up another tank for zoas soon and when I get a huge chunk of change i'll be getting 8 bulbs (4 bulbs to each of the tanks) and they will be most likely wave point, mostly for the cost and i like them overall

I love my wavepoint fixture.....and the bulbs are said to be comparable to giesmann and ATI....par wise.......and at about half the price.....

Im running ten wavepoint bulbs and I love them. They are supplying light for 30+ acros that are doing great. When its time for bulbs thats what I will be buying again.

I bought a couple of reefwave 420's from Jenn a while back - decent bulbs for the money, Im still an ATI guy though
