Weird observation.

So lately I have been slacking a little bit and have not done a water change in three weeks. I have been working alot. I have just been dosing seachem 2part and topping off. My tank has never been more algea free. Maybe I need a tds to check out my rodi. Just seems like if should be opposite. I do top off with the same rodi. I make salt with.

Dunno I am at a loss. No more water changing for me.:screwy:

one thing ive observed over my years of off/on aquarium keeping is the more you leave your hands out of the tank (to an extent) the better the tank looks. im not saying never do water changes but from my observations keeping a SIMPLE AND CONSISTENT maintenance routine produces much better results then multiple weekly water changes, dosing this and that, etc...

Our tanks are resilient . . . But only to a point.

I was doing weekly 20% changes and went to bi-weekly 20% changes and things look much better.
