Get home after work, figure i'll clean the skimmer.
Take off the cup, it's dry?
Bone dry.
Then I realize there's a large waterfall sound.
Look at the water level, way down.
Then I remember. Was working in the tank 2 days ago, had turned the ATO off.
Forgot to turn it back on.
Getting old.

Happens to the best of us. My buddy is fairly new to the RODI world. He's turned it on 3 times and flooded his laundry room 3 times.

hell, I feel like topping off my evaporation manually every now and then and forget to turn it off and dump 20g of freshwater in the system all at once, luckily enough that has almost no effect on my salinity with a system this size.
happens to almost everyone at some point.
