Reefers, kinda new to the wet/dry thing. I am looking to buy a sump for a 140 G. and am trying to figure out what a good yet semi affordable wet/dry would be. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Adam

Best is to make your own. Get a 40b, 55, or 75, have a shop cut you some baffles, and you can make the compartments like you want.

If you're talking wet/dry filtration, I'd say none. If you mean, sump/refugium I'd buy an aquarium and build your own. Wet/Dry are useless on a reef tank IMO.

+1

You can ensure that the key equipment, particularly your skimmer fits exactly the way you want it to and save a ton of money getting a used tank cheap.

Thanks for the great info. Anybody use Rubbermaid container to do a refugium?

Thanks,

Adam

I have a 55 if you want to take a look. It has a few baffles in it already. I would stay away from BIOBALLS,(do as is say not as I do!!!:D)!! I could give you a few suggestions.

Jason.
