2 weeks ago a friend of ours had his tank crack and gave me all his fish in an emergency situation as he’s giving up on the hobby. Youngest fish in the tank was 5 years old. I’m picking up a larger tank for them at the end of the month but for now I’ve got them in a 55 gallon. All the rock came from the tank they have been in for years, any extra rock I added was dry rock that has been dry for almost a year. 20 gallons of the water came from the tank. All the fish that are in the tank came from my friends tank. No new additions and no fish other than what’s been together. So that leads me to this. What in the world is going on with my hippo tang? At first I thought ick or velvet but it’s been a few days and it’s not spreading to any other fish. Hippo is still eating like… well a hippo. Any ideas on what this is? Stocking list is as follows:
Hippo tang
Yellow tang
Flame angel
Coral beauty angel
2 tomato clowns
1 black clown
2 anemones

Please help, I really don’t want to lose any of these fish. I’ve got a video of the fish if someone wants me to send it to them.
