Hi guys!
The itch is bad, really bad:)
It‘s been 7 long months without a tank (surgery required shutdown). I‘m so ready for another tank, it’s going to be a Christmas present to myself.

I haven’t kept up with what’s new in the industry so asking for help in deciding what to buy.
Please tell me, what’s your favorite nano tank and why, 20 or < gallons.
Thanks in advance!
Deb

I have a 29biocube that I've been happy with . Not too big ,not too small , easy maintenance , pretty cheap and easy to upgrade. ...

But I've been looking at some new tanks . Not sure if I want to pull the trigger yet .

I first started off with an IM 40G Nuvo and it was great. I had the Tunze 9001 nano protein skimmer in one chamber and in the other i just ran a filter sock. I loved it but sold it when I upgraded to a 90G with a sump.

I like my innovative marine. I feel it’s a little small, the panorama drop off, but it’s a cool tank. I feel like the 25g lagoon would be perfect.

Thank you for all your replies. The IM Nuvo 40 is beautiful & the last tank I had to shut down before surgery but it’s too big to maintain ATM just for WC purposes.

My first tank (a decade + ago :-) was a 29 loved it. I’ll check on the 20L, it would give more room for coral and probably a lot more fun, thanks.

Hey Sean, don’t we always think after being set up awhile our tanks are too small lol. I would love to see yours & know more about ur drop tank! Wondering if you have any flow issues with it? I’ll check the 25, have never seen one set up. Thanks.

Didn't know IM had peninsula tanks*-* thanks will check it out, sounds cool!

After I said 20 or less... a 25 to 30 sounds good. If I can do a WC with a 5 gallon bucket, it’s good, eazzzy pizzey ☺️

I’ve got a upgraded return pump on it and an mp10. You can tell the lower part doesn’t get as much flow. I may need something else unfortunately since a bunch of junk gets built up in the bottom back area. If I blow it with a turkey baster it’ll do the trick though.

I need to update my post on my 22g drilled with a 30 g sump(when running holds 20g). I love having a nano tank but being able to put a huge skimmer(in comparison) is a huge advantage. Running a reef octopus nwt-150 on a small tank and having a small space for a refugium is a big plus for me. It's only 7 months old but I love it.
