Is it safe to say that this Scoly has seen it’s last day?

Probably but I'd still keep it in the tank for a while longer. If you look at the bottom left, there still seems to be some underlying flesh on it. I mean, it's probably a goner but I like the keep hope alive until the bitter end. In a case like this, the bitter end is when coralline algae start growing over the skeleton.
