I know that not all skimmers are created equal even though they may look similar. Has anybody had any experience with Euro Reef skimmers and if so, what did you think of it?

I like the one on my 150 altho im not really sure what to compare it too.. I have to clean it every 2-3 days from dark green sludge

I have been using one for about 8 years and love it.

Euroreef went away some years ago. Same guy, now called Reef Dynamics.

The ASM brand of skimmers are Euroreef/Reef Dynamics knock-offs.

Great skimmers, IMO. The new structure of the company for Reef Dynamics isn't very "retailer friendly", but the skimmers are good, IMO and IME.

I bought one this time last year. It was recommended to me by a LFS (who didn't carry the line - can't get more honest than that). As Jenn said, it is Reef Dynamics. Jeff, you are welcome to come by and see it. I have an understocked 55 gallon reef tank. This skimmer is more than I need for the bio-load, but I thought it better to go bigger.
