I'm planning on attaching some rocks together will fiberglass rods. What type of adhesive did you use? Please post part number or picture of adhesive. How long have the fiberglass rods and adhesive been in your tank? No side effects with the choice of adhesive.

If you use multiple rods and position them with the bottom level they stay pretty well. Additionally you could use any reef putty to stabilize.

Super glue gel can do it. Just drill small holes, pour the gel in, then push the rod in.

Will this work?

If you end up using epoxy/putty, keep in mind it will make your skimmer go berserk.

I didn't use any glue. Just drilled roughly the same size as the rod and it stays just fine. I have some pretty extended floating ledges too.

I'm seen others post this message or something similar; without pictures, it didn't happen. So show us some extended floating ledges since I haven't drill yet.

P.S. Thanks Jenn for the skimmer going berserk with the epoxy/putty comment in the comment above tony's.

Mind you that's pukani rock so relatively light weight but just a single rod holding it there. Bad pic with led
