I know that there are speakers and such but what exactly do you do? Trade frags? Talk with other reefers??

Not really sure, this will be my first but i am just looking forward to the trading and meeting new peeps that share my obsession----Is there another word for this????

Well, in addition to listening to the speakers, many of us also hover over our coolers like we're in the EMT with a new heart inside ready for transplant.

How can we know who you are, Oh yea the one with the sunburned face, dark glasses and the white cane with red tip.:D

Hey now it aint that bad now, just a little bit of red eyes and a little sun burn on the fore head

The first rule of the Atlanta Reef Club is that you don't talk about the Reef Club...
The second rule of ...

Sorry I couldn't help myself with the fightclub reference :P. Such a good movie heh. Anyways, I go for trading items mostly. I'm more of a read on your own kind of guy, so I don't typically get much out of speakers. It is nice putting faces with names though.

Alright so you listen to speakers, trade and sell frags, and talk with people then leave?

Depends on the venue. Sometimes it's at a fish store, sometimes there's a speakers, other times it's an informal session with hands-on demos. At all of them, everybody mingles for a while, chats, trade frags, etc - nobody's forced to do anything (except respect the speaker when they're in their talk). It's really what you want to make of it.

FutureInterest- great reference- Fight Club is one of my favorite movies...

TriGa22- cool to see that you're into RC Planes- I did that for a while, until I got caught up into aquariums...

It'll have a speaker, so it'll be somewhat format. Go ahead and come check it out - there's no admission or anything for a meeting, and they're all a little different. It'd be like judging a TV show based only on one episode.

Shorts and a T-shirt are good enough. Age doesn't matter, although a good attitude and maturity will go a long way...No lap dancers... :(

Darn and I spent all that money getting my Tuxedo dry cleaned. The lap dancers really like the Tux! :shades: :yay:

Man, I was getting use to having the meetings at bars. Is this meeting BYOB? Or will there be ARC be selling beer for MACNA XX?
