So, the lights came on this morning and I looked at my clam and found it like this! Just last night it looked fine, wide open and happy! Is there no chance for it at this point? Sorry for the pic! All I have right now is my BlackBerry. Here are my current params:

Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 15
PH: 8.2
Salinity: 1.026
dKH: 11.8
Magnesium: 1260
Temp: 79

Do I need to pull it out at this point? Will or can it cause other issues?

I would remove it. Take a look at the remaining tissue and see if there are any pyramid snails within. They can make short work of a clam. They are parasitic, and they typically come in on wild-harvested clams, they bore their way in through the bottom (near the foot) and eat their way from the inside out.

If you have other clams, this is cause for concern. Some wrasses are known to eat these snails.

Sorry for your loss :(
