What injuries have you sustained from this hobby?

Seems like any time I do a change of any sort, Wife2.0 executes Nag24.7 until I can manage to bypass the program with either the firewall ShutUp2.0 (which invariably launches Fight4.3) or antivirus ShinyPretty2.4k.

First and only injury i've gotten is I was working on a tank and I sliced my arm on overflow cause beveled glass was not used for the overflow cover left a right nice scar

That was hilarious. No injuries here other than getting shocked.

Been shocked twice, once by being stupid and grabbing a plug with a wet hand, once when I dropped a light into a tank, panicked and reached in to pull it out.

Bristleworms. I'm highly sensitive to them. My first encounter I had blisters all over my hand.

Also, non-reef related, I'm allergic to bloodworms; accidentally inhaled dust from the freeze-dried kind and nearly had to go to the ER when my throat closed up. Also, got some of the frozen ones' juice in a cut on my hand once and had thumb and forefinger swell nearly 2x.

I've had quite a few. The one that is most memorable was the time I was digging around in a rock vat at a place I used to work at and accidentally grabbed a rock that had a lot of encrusting snails on it. One of them lodged into my middle finger and broke off. When I pulled my hand out to see what had caused pain, there was a small tube sticking out of the tip of my finger squirting blood to the rhythm of my pulse. I quickly found some forceps, pulled it out, put a super glue bandage and continued my business.

It's the reboot that scares me!

Yes... you will almost always lose half your data.

I cut my finger on the blade of an EZ Blade scraper the other day. Not the cleanest thing to get cut with, so now it is infected. Other than that, a couple of MH burns.

I was cutting some zoa rocks up and the dust got in my lungs, three days later I thought I had a chest cold, two weeks later I was having trouble breathing. I went to the doctor, three antibiotics later I was over it. WEAR a mash when you frag!

Shocked by a stray voltage! Put a rod in the sump to keep the electricity from hurting my fish and coral?

Bud helped me to raise a drained but fully loaded 55G tank that was under my 210. We built a wood stand and were raising it about 6 inches. While we were lifting it up we had to build the stand under the tank. At one point the tank shifted and I ended up crushing my hand under the tank and between the wood stand. That freakin hurt!!!! I ended up with a smashed hand and a few bruised fingers... lesson learned!
