might be a good idea to try phytoplankton, if the issue is not in chemistry, it might be in the food.
we can take all the vitamins we want but we still have to eat, i would do some heavy phyto feeding for a few weeks and see what happens.

What salt are you using and whats your water change schedule look like? Do you dose anything like 2-pqrt, trace elements, amino acids and are you feeding the fish only or supplementing food for the corals?

Tropic marine salt along with their 3 part balling salt

the balling salt has cal alk and the third part C has 70+ trace elements and act has a balancer for part A&B

I do 25 gal every two weeks on water changes,
I do not add any supplements just feed the fishes

dosing

to maintain a cal of 420 I have to dose 175ml daily of part A,B&C of the balling salt

whats your no3
and how long have the lights been under those led units

my NO3 is undetectable with salifert test kit

and my light are on 9 to 10 hrs a day

Dose nitrates up to 2-3 and watch the colors pop!

will KNO3 work (Potassium Nitrates)

will it raise my potassium too high, and how much to dose per gal

First off... how are you controlling your nitrates ?

Then yes potassium nitrate will work. Just watch the potassium levels or use sodium nitrate like snowman. He said he ordered a lot and would share.

ok

thanks

I followed these steps and in my 120g system. 10ml raises my nitrates .5ppm. But your system will consume the nitrates differently.
