So I got a vlamingi tang not too long ago. It has been doing great, getting along with everybody and eating well. Recently some type of parasite or fungus has begun growing on its face. I'm not sure what it is. I caught the fish and dipped it in methylene blue, this did not seem to help at all. Anybody know what this is?

I see a clown tang in there too. Its possible its mechnaical injury taht has become infected. Clown tangs are very aggressive. Do you run UV or other disease control tools?

Clown tangs are aggressive however mine has never picked on the vlamingi, and I run a UV.

Vlamingis get huge. How big is your tank? Possibility of him running into rocks or anything else in the tank while it's trying to move about?
