what is on the live rock?

I saw it on the rock when did the aquascaping. I don't see it to spread. I don't know it is bad or good, but it has bothered me a bit. My tank is pretty new and has been running more than 3 weeks. Can anyone tell me what the heck it is?

Looks like a sponge to me. Its fine.

I dunno... it looks potentially malicious. I would suggest killing it with a fresh water dip just to be sure .
