What is the best way...

to encourage a nem to move? I got a fantastic specimen from Jaime yesterday, thanks man, and woke up today to it being under the bottom of the pile at the back of the tank. Obviously, I want it to be front and center. So far, I have piled some rubble up to block any light getting to it to see if it will come to the light. If it does, I will dub thee Carrie Ann. Any other ideas?

Point a powerhead at it.

It'll likely head up once it's ready. All my nems no matter where I place them seem to head to the highest point of my tank eventually. Jamie's did the same if I remember correctly.

You are correct. I came home today to it sitting nicely on top of the stack. It actually picked a nice spot away from all corals except for some zoas.
