This doesn't look like algae, it is kind of translucent with a slight brown tint, started on one rock and is rapidly spreading over the egg crate and even on the front of the wavemaker, what is it and how do I get rid of it?  Thanks.<img class="aligncenter" src="https://atlantareefclub.org/boards/data/uploads/hm_bbpui/1076563/T82bhsmqqj2iy0rs8cmxexfft5c1ywtqv.jpg[/IMG] alt="20180320_164551" />

Not sure of the fuzz but I immediately recognised the coral. Hope they all look as good.

Bacteria perhaps - are you dosing any carbon? If so - it will clear if you reduce the dose - be sure to keep skimmer running so oxygen levels stay up.

No, no dosing of anything, it is a 60 gallon bare bottom frag tank, sump with Chaeto refugium, skimmer, about 60 lbs. of live rock, practically no feeding at all (reef chili twice in 2 months), fish removed to quarantine for 2 months. There was quite a bit of hair algae on the rock,  I did one treatment of fluconazole, could this be from an algae die off?  I do weekly 20-25% water changes, but phosphates went from .04 on 2/28 to .13 today after a water change yesterday.
