What is this

It's got coraline under it. It's the color of cyano but it's hard like coraline. It's in the highest flow areas of the tank.

If it’s hard like coraline, I’d say it’s coraline. Possibly plating monti

It's all over. In the same places right along with normal purple coraline algae.

I did consider that it was coraline but it's not like coraline I've ever seen.

Coraline comes in a bunch of different colors. It’s possible it’s just that.....



i went to buy corals from a craigslist poster once years ago. His tank was covered in cobalt blue coraline algae . It was beautiful!!!! Never seen that color since then......

Nope.  I do have a lot of blue over that area though.

I have at least 4 colors of coraline in my tank.  I have been told there are dozens of colors.
