What is this ?

It has been in my tank for awhile now and had no probs as of yet. It came on a piece of live rock that I got from squirmy. It almost looks like a bunch of eggs. Its clear and has little bubble things all in it. I touched and it feels slimy but tough like a slimy leather feeling.

Looks like a dead Favia skeleton maybe wrong..... but the picture is not crisp.


Put your hand down there in it and grab it? Is it hard? It's s dead coral. Soft? Pull it out and lets look at it..
 
pic is not crisp?? it is just aft of the tangs tail - right in the middle of the pic
 
I know what it is!

Colonial Tunicates- Need dim lighting, Filter tiny organic particles from the water.

They can thrive in an aquarium with lots of nutrients.
