This guy hitchhiked in on some liverock. Ive spent many hours trying to actually see him. He usually is inside a liverock hole and all i can see are his legs. Today is the first time ive actually seen him come out. Took a lot of patience. lol.

+1

He'll eat algea until he's big enough to do some real damage. I recommend a sentance of life in the sump!

Yeah, he's probably not good. Really cool looking, though, so I'd put him in the sump if you can. He'll probably end up being a really good clean up member down there.

well the problem is he is REALLY tiny. It doesnt look like it in the video, but he is so small he can hide in any hole in the liverocks. There is no way in the world i could catch him. I literally had to sit there for an hour and not move until he finally came out. Any movement at all and hes back in the hole super quick. I guess ill wait til he gets bigger and then try to get him out. That particular piece of live rock is amazing and i dont want to take it out of the water. It has so much life on it. Even has a living clam or oyster on it... i just saw it open for the first time today while i was watching that guy. Thanks for the help guys.

Edit:

yep that would be him. he is cute in a way. lol.

You could always use the old water bottle trap to see if you can make removing the crab easier.
