what kind of snail is this?

i found this on my zoa frag in my biocube and i havent seen him before but i have noticed the zoas havent been opening much .. could he be the reason?

he is pretty small.. id smaller than a dime..

Confirmed. It's a sundial snail. They eat zoanthids for a living. Get rid of it post haste and examine ALL of your zoanthid colonies for more. They can and will reproduce in your tank also.

And be sure to wash your hands carefully after handling zoanthids :)
