Have you ever ask the following question? So what pressure do I need for my RO/DI setup? Maybe this link can help? http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/video/view/brstv-investigates-proper-psi-for-reverse-osmosis-system-performance/?trk_msg=0TGU7O7Q0LTKH3P480HT81RA0K&trk_contact=EF6BBP1BBMPBOVQIFO9OKM2I14&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=BRStv&utm_campaign=brstv&utm_content=brstv_100716">http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/video/view/brstv-investigates-proper-psi-for-reverse-osmosis-system-performance/?trk_msg=0TGU7O7Q0LTKH3P480HT81RA0K&trk_contact=EF6BBP1BBMPBOVQIFO9OKM2I14&utm_source=Listrak&utm_medium=Email&utm_term=BRStv&utm_campaign=brstv&utm_content=brstv_100716</a>

Nice test. Definitely not the result I expected and time to test my water pressure again. Since I can fill my 55 gallon brute with my 50 gpd setup in about 12 to 14 hours, I always assumed my pressure is too high, but the test shows it should only improve performance. I was actually going to put a pressure reducer on the line since I keep my household pressure up very high, I suppose I will not be adding a reducer now.

65 PSI is best, and 77 degree water. Ratings for gallons-per-day etc., are based on those two values.

Otherwise, your mileage will vary.

I run my 150 gpd (2x75 G RO membranes) RODI at 90 PSI. Athens has some great water pressure.

I run a similar setup. The water entering the system is 95~100psi and after the 3rd stage before the RO it's 80ish. This will fill up my 55 gallon storage drums (100~105 capacity) in about 14 hours. Gwinnett where I'm at has great pressure too and the tds of the incoming water is 40~44.
