What should I buy for a new Refugium?

I have a new sump on the way and I am not sure what I should order for the Refugium section? The is 12 x 14. My current set up does not have a refugium so I am working blind.

I understand the basic set up to be live sand or miracle mud, Chaeto and live rock. I'll be doing more research to narrow down the specifics of those.

I am lost on the refugium light, what should I be looking for?

Also pods, with the refugium being in the sump will pods be worth it since they would have to travel through the return pump to travel to the DT tank? I would like to have them though and I bet my live stock would as well.

The finnex-fudge ray light works pretty good from what I've heard.
