Tank is drained, and sure enough, that precip left a film all over the inside and bottom. I'm going to clean it in the AM, but am not sure what to use. I'm thinking vinegar and water, what do you guys think?
While cheating the glass I have noticed that the LFS I got the tank from wrote on it with a paint pen or something. You can't tell unless you look from a certain angle, then you see a void where the d writing was. The vinegar and water isn't taking it off, anybody have any thoughts as to how to remove the residue?
I'll try, but there isn't anything there to scrape. It's more like a void. If you run a wet cloth over it the glass gets slightly cloudy from the water except where the paint was, it's almost like the put it on with crayon or something wax based

I'm going to try a magic eraser next, gotta go buy one.
What I have tried so far
1. Alcohol
2. Vinegar
3. Soap and water
4. Citric acid based adhesive remover
5. Acetone
I am considering an automotive clay bar as well as the magic eraser
