hey guys i want to make my own sum/refugium for a 90 gal aga i bought and was wondering what will fit under the tank it is the regular stand thanks to all in advance ........is there anyone out there that is willing to help me build it cause i wouldnt know how

I would use rubbermaid bins and connect them with 1" bulkhead fittings - they work great and are cheap!

Flaco,

They are not common, but a 50g "breeder" tank would work well, as would a standard 55g. I would suggest as much volume as possible, but you could easily do a 20-29g as well.

If you need help building it, they are no problem, some lexon from HD and DAP silicone (and a table saw) and you'll be able to make your baffles and everything... I might be able to help you at some point.

Matt

if you need it drilled, try justonemoretank, he's the man!

as for a design, here's one i made for a very simple sump designed for a submersible pump, the return chamber could be shortened to make more room for the fuge...

I have worked in fish stores and seen many sump designs so I used a combination of a few different things for mine. I was going to use my old 29 until I realized that I would only have 4 inches to get into the sump itself. The 30L is much lower so that you can actually get into the sump to clean it or change out pumps or whatever you need. Just let me know if you want pics of mine.
yeah sure y not thanks

I am using a 30l for a sump on my 75. It's worked great also.
