I dosed my calcium today and about 5 minutes later added alkalinity to the opposite side of the tank. Somehow, it still precipitated and there were "snow-flakes" all over my tank. They went away after about a minute though. Is there anything I need to do?

I have had this happen. Never hurt anything but probably didn't raise your alk either

5 minutes is to close together it's how I caused the same issue with my tank by setting my dosers 5 minutes apart. Dose cal in the AM, and Alk at night, dosing alk at night helps with ph decrease when lights go off.
