So I have a 55 gallon reef in the works, and now I have a 29 gallon tank I just don't know what to do with. I'm gonna put some rock and sand in today and get it cycling, but I don't know what to do with it. So far Ive come up with: predator FOWLR, cool invert/LPS tank, seahorse tank, and hawkfish tank. What else "y'all" got?

Whoever comes up with the coolest idea wins a free physical!

Plumb it as a fuge...grow macro algae and mangroves. It would be a pod utopia!

the thought actually crossed my mind to do that. only problem is a.) it wont fir under the stand i built and b.) the 55 is not drilled.

I could, however, have that stuff in it and use the water from that tank for water changes for the big tank and just do it the old fashioned way with paint buckets.

If I do that, what kind of stuff can I have in there? I don't want it to be a completely utilitarian tank-- I would like to have SOME stuff in there worth looking at as this is going in my bedroom.

Good thought though, I just need some more info on that type of tank and how to set it up and get all that stuff (mangroves, etc.)

Give it to me! Between that and the physical I'd come up big time.
Just kidding. Good size for a shroom tank.

a> a ricordia seahorse tank.
