Sorry for the crappy picture, I am trying to identify this fish, Can anyone help? I got him from a co-worker today who inherited a saltwater set up over the weekend and decided they wanted to go Freshwater. I am not sure what type of fish it is. I am thinking it is a Damsel but I am not sure what type, or even if I should put him in my 75 gal? Any help comments would be appreciated.

My current livestock in my 75 gal is
1 Fuzzy Dwarf Lion
1 Arc Eyed Hawkfish
1 Velvet Damsel
1 huge Red Hermit Crab
about 100lbs of rock..

Definitely Damsel..... I can't tell what kind due to the bag.... Looks healthy

Edit: Once you put him in the tank, he'll color up.

Do it after the lights go out to minimize bullying

How is the Lion with your crab/small fish? I thought Lion's will eat them?

It's hard to tell from the picture, but it could be a Cocoa Damselfish with a lighter color variation.

It will be better colored once it's out of the bag and acclimated to the tank......

Any new pictures of him in his new home?

The Crab is pretty big around the size of a baseball, He doesn't bother him because of the size of the crab
