So these don't appear to be eggs... It is stringy stuff attached to the coral (or coming out of it)

Any Id is greatly appreciated

Mesenterial Filaments are used as a mechanism of defense and a means of acquiring nutrition. This can happen when the corals are stressed. Maybe you have some lighting issues and other issues.
 
Well I'm STILL TRYING to find the sweet spot w the lighting yea, the corals ARE growing.... But they aren't exactly perfectly happy. A few appear to be very happy. My birds best has added another third to its size in the last few weeks.

Oh... If it helps... This only appears on the underside of the corals, when the frags are horizontal.

kinda under it.. so it yea... i did think of that being part of the issue.
 
May not be, but I wouldn't doubt it if it's getting hit with flow. Esp if the rest of your parms are in check.
