What's in your filter sock???

I was swapping out my sock and noticed something down in it... Upon further investigation I found a very long very mad bristle worm... </span></span>

Always copepods, found a wrasse once (didn't notice he was missing from the display).

Couldn't tell you. I sold them to a guy in NY a few years ago.

Found a mantis one day, finger long and alive until I washed it with boiling water...

Lol I don't change mine too often, I have all kinds of bristle worms, blue legged crabs, and yes have found many of fish down in there. I often think I lost them in the rocks and just said oh well and sure enough there they are...

I'd change them regularly or not use them.

No! I wear them. Very uncomfortable. Especial with mantis shrimp in them.

i dont find much - pods....fish poop - I pull it, pour any water left over into the fuge and toss in the washing machine with bleach
