what's this stuff coming out of the anemone?

just got home and noticed this purple stuff floating out of the anemone, is this bad?

cool, first time I see it. Should I scoop it out? looks like a lot of poop probably because of the over feeding I did with it for the past 2 weeks but it's really cool how it grabs on pieces of food and points them to it's mouth

I use a baster to remove it from the tank if I happen to see it. If you have enough water volume, it's not really going to hurt anything, but it'll add to other wastes already in your water. If you have a small water volume, definitely remove it or do a water change.

is 65gal considered a lot? I have saltwater ready, I can do a w/c if needed

You're fine, no WC needed, you don't even need to baster it out. What have you been feeding the anemone?

thanks, tomorrow is my usual wc day I'll just stick with my schedule

I've been feeding it rod's food-veggie mix a little more than every other day but I'll slow down now that all my friend/family watched it eating
