Ok Im trying to decide on some supplimental lighting for my 300g. I will be using 4 3' T5HO's over driven on an icecap660.

What Im looking for is a good 50/50 type bulb that will look good all by itself, and add a little white back to the xm20k bulbs when they are on.

I was considering the Fiji blue+, but before I go buying I wanted to get some opinions.

ATI Aquablue Special. It's about 12k spectrum (very very white) and has crazy PAR.

Im not all that worried about the par, more how the color looks when running alone. Does it actually look 12k?

A little bit of white goes a long way too.

This honestly looks like if you took a sheet of copy paper, and turned it "on". I can't think of another way to describe it. Very white.

Sounds good but i would like something with more blue in it for when the halides are not on.

UVL 454 with individual reflector. Very nice blue bulb but not as overpowering blue as a Geisman actinic is. If you know how blue the Geisman can be? I have also heard good things about the Aquascience 22k bulb.
