My wifes moray has out grown his 10 gallon tank. Found a 40 on the curb awhile back. His next home. Where should I drill for a closed loop system? What size bulkheads? All opinions welcome. Thanks

???? Who has that kind of luck?? LOL

Im not sure about flow requirements for an eel but I'd imagine that 3/4 would work for a CL. I'd say just make it the same as whatever size your pump inlet/outlet is... likely 3/4" - 1"

make sure you drill your intake at least 5-6 inches of the bottom of the tank, so that gravel, sand, dirt does not get suck into the pump. a cool place to drill your returns is on the bottom of the tank and have nozzles directed at your coral from the front..but you have to make sure the bottom panel is not tampered..
