I got a new tank yesterday, and need a 1" and a 3/4" bulkhead seal. They don't leak or anything, but I want to redo the derso plumbing because there are some unessecary holes in it.

I have not took the bulkheads out yet in fear of not being able to find new seals.

Thats what I figured. I might just leave well enough alone. I don't want to buy new ones...

I use sillicon on both sides of the gasket when puting bulkheads in. Its a little over kill, but i hate drips, sillicon always make a good seal.

Check out NAPA. They have some diy rubber gasket kits that you may be able to cut out yourself to fit. If you have doubts maybe test them on tupperware for a few months first.

Sam at Aquabuys has bulkheads from $5-$10, and he's not too far from you in Lawrenceville.

I thgink I will just leave them in. They work fine, and I would rather just leave what works alone. Thanks for the help though.
