Where can I get formalin like ... right now?

I don't want to wait. I want to treat all my fish now.

I found http://www.petco.com/product/102867/Wardley-Wellness-Ick-Out-Sensitive.aspx">this</a> at PetCo, but it says it's specially formulated for sensititve fish. Would it be effective on the others? If this can treat catfish and eels, could it treat a puffer?

Should we treat all our fish (since all have been exposed)? Even if there are no symptons?

that stuff does not work as well as it does for freshwater. what kind of puffer is it? if it is a dogface then do a freshwater dip with formalin it really works well with the dogface. I had the same problem and was advise to do this and have not had a problem with him and ick again and next month would make a year. marine fish has formalin if you need to buy some

yes, it's a dogface, but someone else has said *<u>do not</u> do a FW dip with puffers*

I'm confused.... but if yours survived.... and if this fella is going to die anyway... guess I should risk it?

Are local rep just told us it is illegal to have formalin and was a 1000 dollar fine. She took all of our stuff and gave us credit for other chemicals. Don't know if it was just the kind we had are not but she took it all.

Petco and Petsmart carry Formalin I believe. I am sure someone has to have some around here. I have copper but that is not going to help you...

From what I read about all this the formulin dips that are talked about usually referenced Formulin as a 37% formaldehyde product and that may have been what was taken off the shelves. What I bought and is still available is Formulin-3 which is only 3% formaldehyde.
