I put three green chromis in yesterday. Also got out the 3 stripe. But one green chromis is gone. Just gone. I'm lost?

When i put 3 blue/green cromis 8 yrs ago, only 1 lived.Still alive today. For some reason this is common with this type of schoolers.

I've also got the 3 stripe damsel in my refugium. Is this ok until the lfs I got him from opens?

I have 1 out of 9 if you have a overflow check it because mines kept getting into my overflow
until I put plastic mesh over the teeth!

Lol. I think that they are awesome fish. You just have to watch them.

Need help to know how you put plastic mesh over the teeth, I need to do similar stuff on my tank, where did you get plastic mesh ? how did you fix the mesh ? :shades:

Actually I got this idea from another member worked like a charm for the fish but one of my peppermint shrimp took my green chromis place.
Lowes has a plastic gutter guard in the gutter section i think it was 7$ a roll take it cut it to size and black wire tie it to your overflow teeth its almost invisible hope this helps

thanks for the suggestion, will try this out this weekend

There is a plastic mesh sold at craft stores for some sort of knitting (im unclear on those details) its cheap a few bucks for a sheet. Cut it to size and use zip ties to fasten it good.
Small fish always seem to slip through without me doing his.

I would go sparingly on the wire-ties, because you're eventually going to need to remove this mesh to clean it...just a thought

Actually two or three per side but you slip them over the teeth the mesh slides right off without cutting them

Ok so please tell me why I felt bad for my damsel and dropped him back in the main tank. To wake up this morning and find him back in the refugium. Lmao. He's a goofy little fish. But sadly he will be going back to the lfs today
