Where to buy cabinet grade wood?

I'm looking to build a set of bookshelves out of maple. What are the best places around Atlanta to get quality wood?

Peach state lumber in Kennesaw, Sweetwater land and lumber in Austell.

Stay away from Hardwoods Inc! They are convenient and "in the city," but their prices are double what you will pay at Peachstate Lumber in Kennesaw. Peachstate's prices alone are worth the drive.

Home Depot sells maple plywood occasionally, but stay away from them as well (for lumber, that is).

If you have problems with the price of any of those places shoot me a pm and I will see what I can do. After 25 years my price is pretty much the same at all of them (within a few cents anyway)

Thanks. I need to go to BassPro and stop by Rit's anyway, so I think I'll check out Suwanee lumber.

+1 on these. Lumber may come rough, but should have everything you need.
