Where to buy Weldon #16

Apart from their excellent customer service, Marine Design would have what you need since I just bought a tube. Call and ask since I might have grabbed the last one. You can always try SEA up the street. Hope it works out, :)

I bought a tube from MRC a few years back. Has lasted me since springs of '09

i bought mine at a plastic dealer. they were in norcross but i cant remember the name of the company. they make a lot of neon signs too.

PureReef has carried it in the past. Probably the closest place to you. I'd call before you go to make sure they still sell it.
....oops see Rich beat me to it.

That cracks me up... last week I called Mcmaster-Carr looking for some, I remembered getting some from them in the past. Spend 10 mins. describing it, what it used for and pointing out that they sell other solvents. The guy swore they didn't have it and never carried it. I ended up placing an order with US Plastics.

Marine Designs out in the Johns Creek area usually has it in stock. Call first. If not on the shelf ask for Will or Jason on Saturday. They will usually have a couple in the back for store use that u can use. Just mention this post.

Will that stuff bond acrylic overflows to my glass tank? Or is something else recommended?

No. It's designed to join acrylic with acrylic.

And if you are not careful, you can bond your brand new overflow box to your work table... ask me how I know.

On the plus side the overflow box had a nice wood grain (and part of the table)to it when I got done!
