Where to get 1/4 screen or mesh locally

I've been putting off doing this for a while but this week my 6 line wrasse jumped to his death. I found him on the bracing when I got home from work. So I'm going to build a screen top. I looked at the local hardware stores and I only saw the screen material that you see next to the frames. Anybody know where to get the 1/4" clear mesh like BRS sells? Or something like it that isn't screen?

Brs is where I get mine. Or from people who get some then don't need it all. I may have some laying around. How much do you need.

They actually had the 1/4" clear square mesh at Home Depot? I have never seen it anywhere locally.

That's what I was thinking. I couldn't find it at all. And Pure Reef is not local for me. lol It's almost 2.5 hours away so at that point I would rather just order it.
The poultry fence looks interesting though. Do you think it's pliable enough to punch into a frame?

I need enough to do the top of my 125 which is 6 feet long. And since there is a HUGE brace in the middle, I actually need to do 2 at about half the length.

I would just order from BRS then. Their shipping is kinda high for small orders, but what can you do?

Not sure how pliable. I have touched it physically yet. I was planning on getting it when it was time to make a screen.

Yeah I might have to do that. I don't wanna build something I'm not happy with.

BrS mesh is the same stuff I used to sell, and it is very pliable, and fits like a glove into standard aluminum window screen frames with standard spline. Just make sure to match the proper spline. with the frames. You'll have no problem. I'll look and see what size spline I used.

I bought the black UV resistant mesh with 1/2 inch holes and cut 2 pieces to size and turned one piece diagonal to the other before mounting both pieces into the frame. This gave me the 1/4 " wholes I needed and it worked perfectly.

No, sorry. I got mesh from another member. He had gotten a roll of it and used what he needed, then handed the rest off to me.

I'm not sure but I've never heard anything like that. Even if it does if it saves my $30 fish it's worth it to replace the mesh every year. I feel really bad for my 6 line because I knew better but I was being lazy. Fml
