Does anyone know what’s the best place to buy cleaning crew, primarily snails and hermit crabs? I looked around on the web and found reefs2go.com, which I think has decent price, but then I have to get over $150 to get free shipping, and I’m not there yet. I checked out a few LFS as well, and I think the math works out to be the same.

i've heard lots of good things about reefcleaners.

you can email him your tank specs and he will build you a nice package and usually throw in extras. my buddy bought lots of base rock from them and customer service was really good.

our sponsors have sales all the time on these critters.
keen has a good selection on crabs. price is nice too.

I have used reefcleaners and there stuff is top notch, you get way more than you pay for and they have such a wide selection of animals in their cleanup crews. John, the owner, very helpful and quick to reply to your questions!

I heard good things about KeenReef, it's just that it's too far for me, so never had the chance to visit them. Wish they were closer.

I'll check out reefcleaners later today. I really need to get this going to maintain the balance of my tanks. Thanks everyone.

Lots of sponsors out your way. Fish Scales just moved into buford, that is pretty close to Suwanee. Atlanta Aquaria is out in lawrenceville.

bump a blue leg, they never clean anything besides the shell that a perfectly good snail was living in ha...

I'm actually on this side of Suwanee, right north of Marine Design. I thought about Fish Scales too, but they just moved and not really settle yet.

Good point. I'll probably call them today to find out what kind of pricing they have.

Did you stop by? If you do just say who you are, I will set you up with a few (free) to get you by until the diver comes up from the Keys in a week or two.

If you cant wait go see Tim. *********s does not hold a candle to his prices.

No I didn't stop by your store Chris. I read your post and figure that you must be busy with all the moves. Maybe some other times. So is this diver giving a good deal on the cleaning crew?

i got mine at keen reef. he was VERY helpful on telling me what snail or hermit did what. (i.e.- hair algae grazer, leftover-fish-food-nommer. etc.). great prices too.
