my plan....
I want to drill my live rock and attempt an Iwagumi-inspired rock scape. Some longer rocks will need to stand almost straight up. I'm going to use zip ties, pvc, and fiberglass driveway rods for the structure, but i'll need to drill holes as well.

my problem...
I've heard varying opinions on which bit is best suited for making small holes in live rock; masonry bit, ceramic bit, fiberglass bit, and regular everyday drill bits... which one should I try first?

I've heard it is best to use masonry bits and heavy leather gloves, cause the bit is bound to bind.

Any type of masonry bit should work.....I have a bit that's about 14" long and can actually drill small holes in the rock while it's still in the tank for frag plugs......Just have to drill slow.....
